Business Products Center was founded in 1952 as the Paper Mill Office Equipment and Supply company, under the ownership of James R. Patton and J. Henry Gustafson. After a name change in the early 70's, Terry W. Horton purchased BPC in 1977, gaining full ownership in 1983. He continued as owner/president until August of 2000.
Today, Susie Drumm-Horton owns and operates BPC, continuing with the same values it was founded upon-- customer service. She credits the continued success of the business with the staff, several of whom have been with the company for over 25 years; as well as excellent customer service. She says...“we are well aware of the fact that you can buy pencils and paper just about anywhere, so what makes the difference in this world of super stores is customer service and our knowledge of the product. It is vital to us that if someone comes in our store or calls on the phone they feel they are important to us and that we are genuinely happy to help them.”
